We are really looking forward to you joining us in the Teddy Bear Class at AISG. Miss Yuansheng and I will be guiding your child on their quest to inquire, explore and enjoy their first year at AISG. Currently we have 15 students, eight girls and seven boys, joining us from the USA, Hong Kong, Australia, Taiwan, India and Japan. We are excited to get to know your child and start our learning adventure together.
This is my first year at AISG in the preschool program. I am originally from Freiburg, Germany where I received my teaching certification. Since becoming a teacher, I have had the pleasure to teach in Germany, Bangkok, and Beijing. I currently live in Guangzhou with my husband and my two youngest daughters, Chantal (15 years old) and Angelina (8 years old). My oldest daughter attends University in Germany. My biggest joy is spending time with my family eating delicious foods and traveling to explore different countries and cultures. I enjoy my work with young learners very much as I am able to share with them their journey of exploration, discovery and the excitement of understanding Who? What? Where? When? Why? and How?
Miss. Yuansheng has also joined AISG recently. She is a local Cantonese who is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese and has graduated from The Education University of Hong Kong with a Master degree in Teaching Chinese as an International Language. Traveling, eating and movies are her favorite things to do. She loves to work with children and loves to work in AISG.
Every day we will send home a Take Home Folder. Please use this envelope as a way to communicate with us or to return forms. We will send home important notices in the Take Home Folder, so please check your child’s backpack for the envelope and send it back to school. We also communicate a lot through email, so please remember to check and empty your inboxes!
The Teddy Bear Blog is a great resource on finding out what our class is working on. Please visit frequently! http://ramlogjr.aisgz.org/cgermain/
Looking forward to a great year,
Mrs. Christina & Miss. Yuansheng
